Classes are offered at the ClayWorks studio in the Bitterroot Valley in Montana.
One on One Class
I offer One on One Pottery Wheel Throwing lessons. Lessons can be tailored to the students needs. This could be an introduction to wheel throwing or a look at more advanced wheel throwing techniques. All tools are provided, including clay, and a step-by-step approach.
Group WheelThrowing Classes
Group wheel throwing classes are a great way to learn pottery basics in a fun environment. I offer a six week beginners wheel throwing class and a four week intermediate class. During the six week class you'll learn the entire wheel process, from centering and shaping clay, to crafting your own unique pieces. The intermediate class is a faster pace class, building on already learned foundational principles like basic throwing and centering. The focus will be moving more clay and creating larger pieces.
